This is easily one of the coolest videos I have seen in a long time. An ad for GoPro’s newest HD Hero camera, the video features squirrel suit jumps, freestyle skiing, airplane acrobatics, and everything you can imagine in between. Check out the ad right here, and if you’re interested, head on over to GoPro for some more information on the camera.
The waves in Teahupoo, Tahiti are absolutely amazing, and the Phantom HD camera captures them beautifully in slow motion. Check out this surf edit, presented by Billabong right here, and let’s hear what you think.
Yesterday we showed you the collab between Hurley and their parent company Nike on the Air Max 90 Phantom 4D. Today, we get some detailed photos of the shoes. Check them out right here and let’s hear what you think.
In this short film, artist Craig R. Stecyk III beautifully captures both the skateboarding and surfing cultures during their most progressive periods. He skillfully mixes still images with film (dating back to the ’60’s) to create a gripping video. Check out Luxuria right here and feel free to share your thoughts.
Surf brand Hurley is doing a crazy job of promoting their championship Phantom 4D boardshorts, which incorporate Nike flywire technology. Just last week, Hurley, which has been under the Nike umbrella for quite some time now, released images of their Phantom 4D x Air Max 90 collaboration. The sneakers, which will be limited to 500 pairs worldwide, were designed by artist Dalek to closely resemble the look of the boardshorts.
Hurley didn’t stop at the Air Max collaboration however, we just got word that they kicked things up a notch further by announcing another collaboration, this time with bicycle manufacturer LDG. LDG designed a bicycle using the Dalek graphic to fit perfectly with the other pieces of the collection. There will be only 5 of these limited fixed-gear bikes produced.
Check out pictures of the whole collection after the break and let us know what you think.
P.S. – word is Hurley is currently working on a Phantom 4D collab with SkullCandy to round out the collection.
