Scottie Pippen was undoubtidly one of the most talented and well-recognized basketball players of the 90s. While we aren’t quite lucky enough to be seeing one of his OG models return, the Air Maestro Flight is definitely a nice hybrid. The kicks are quite similar to the original Air Maestros, with the addition of a Nike Air unit in the heel. This colorway features an all Grey upper with a Black midsole and lining, set off by Solar Red accents. Check out some more pictures after the break, and be sure to let us know what you think of these kicks. Continue reading →
I will be the first to admit that when I first reviewed the Air Max 90 VT’s earlier in the summer, I wasn’t really feeling them. However, this colorway definitely changes my mind. The Midnight Fog’s are super clean, and fit perfectly for the coming winter months. They feature a one-piece upper made of premium wool, a white midsole with speckled air bubble window, and a perforated black sock liner. Check out some more pictures of these beauties after the break, and let’s hear what you think. Continue reading →
Team Nike served as the inspiration for Vado’s summer anthem “Always On,” and this video shows members of the squad practicing what the lyrics preach. We see how Adris “2 Hard 2 Guard” DeLeon and Quinton “T2” Hosley hold it down in the streets of New York City: they ride the subway, spend time with their families and, of course, get shots up in practice. “You gotta be dedicated everyday,” says T2, a Harlem native, describing his focused mentality. “Always be ready to perform.” At the end, we see the pair joining their teammates under the lights at Dyckman Park, the Uptown hoops mecca where Team Nike has been crushing opponents all summer. Check it out here.
Freshly released is the newest colorway of ‘Neon’ Deion Sanders’ signature trainer. These Diamond Turf’s feature a White and Varsity Royal upper along with Black accents. These throwback kicks are available right now, so check out some more pictures, and let us know if you’ll be grabbing a pair.
Here we go with another great Nike retro release. This time it is the Air Trainer 2 Max ’94. Although the colorway isn’t my favorite, this is still a solid shoe. The upper features white leather with black accents and a treasure blue mudguard. There are black and treasure blue highlights throughout, along with a treasure blue air unit. Check out some more images after the break, and let us know if you would pick up a pair.
I hate the Yankees just as much as everybody else. But one Yankee I can actually stand is Derek Jeter, so congrats to him on his 3,000th hit this weekend. While we’re on the Yankee topic, here is a new release from Nike. The Air Max 90 ‘Yankees’. The shoes feature an all white leather/mesh upper with navy blue and grey accents. These are available right now, so check out these pictures and let us know if you’ll be picking up a pair.
Nike has really been killin’ it with the retro releases this year. The newest one we have word of is the Nike Air Max Uptempo 2, set to drop in November. These classic basketball kicks will release in an OG colorway that features a black, navy blue, and white upper. What really makes these pop is the neon air unit with the graphic inside. Check out more images after the break, and let us know what you think about these classic kicks.
